Loans Fund is Behind Finance for 100 Local Firms - 1st January 2012
Latest figures from the South West Loans Fund show that it has supported 100 businesses across the South West region with well over
£5 million of investment.
The fund helps businesses which have growth plans but are unable to raise enough money from the bank and other sources and is delivered by SWIG and FC Fund Managers. It receives ERDF (European Regional Development Fund) investment – through the Convergence programme in Cornwall and the Competitiveness and Employment programme in the rest of the region - and funding from the Department for Business, Innovation and Skills.
