The Cornwall Business Enterprise Fund

Provides finance to eligible new and small businesses in Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly.

How can the fund help?

By providing up to 60% matched funding up to £25,000 for a range of start ups or expansion costs.

What can it be used for?

The following costs are allowable for assistance:

	Capital equipment (other than transport)
	Marketing
	Consultancy
	Cost of services (e.g. computer software)
	Purchase of adaptation of buildings

Eligible sectors

Manufacturing businesses

Service businesses generating the majority of income from outside the region

Transport, agriculture, fisheries, coal and steel sectors are excluded.

Who qualifies?

The Cornwall Business Enterprise Fund is for eligible new and small businesses that:

	Are unable to raise sufficient traditional finance
	Based within the areas highlighted on the map
	Are start-ups or employ less than 5 people
	Show potential for growth and job creation
